King, Lightnin' Hopkins, Ft. Worth natives Delbert McClinton, Ray Sharpe, King Curtis, Freddy King and many other Texas Blues and Jazz Players. He's toured with Eric Burdon, Linda Ronstadt, Joan Armatrading, Sonny & Cher, Lloyd Price and others in countless performances around the world. Matthew Banks is a Dallas based jazz clarinetist, saxophonist, and bassoonist. A native Texan, Matt specializes in Swing and other early varieties of jazz, often playing on instruments a hundred years old or more to evoke the sound of the era. The Steven Starks Quartet takes audiences back in time as they play classic jazz standards with an energetic, swingin’ vibe reminiscent of the 40’s and 50’s. Featuring vocalist Rachel Azbell. Get your weekend started early. 

Renowned saxophonist Shelley Carrol was named the 2007 “Sammons Center Jazz Artist of the Year,” the highest accolade possible for Dallas/Ft. Worth area jazz musician. He was a 2014 Dallas Observer nominee for “Best Jazz Act.” Shelley has toured with multi-platinum artists Sheryl Crow, Gary Clark, Jr. and Kool and the Gang as well being a member of the Duke Ellington Band. 8 & 10pm Shows. Dave Monsch is one of the most in demand saxophone players in North Texas. A student of the “Texas Tenor Sound”, Dave’s wide-ranging skills have led him from numerous live shows around the country to being the "go to" player for many recording studios. Dave lives and breaths jazz and it shows with every performance. 

Bishop Avenue Hot SIX formed in December of 2019 with the sole purpose of preserving an American art form known as early jazz. Consisting of trumpet, clarinet, trombone, piano, upright bass and drums, the bands goal is to stay as authentic as possible while keeping the band stage hot with not only styles from New Orleans, but to also include Chicago, New York and San Francisco styles as well. The band is inspired by the likes of Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong and his Hot 5 (and 7), Bix Beiderbecke, Turk Murphy to name a few. Cocktails and feet tapping!
